The timber sauna and its two tiers of benching

A private sauna, yours alone

A timber-lined Swedish sauna, a cooldown in the sea air, an open-air bath and a jacuzzi with a view of the sea. Take the hill above Sagami Bay for a day, and restore without meeting a soul.

THE SAUNA

A permanent Swedish sauna

A permanent, timber-lined Swedish sauna, with two tiers of benching and room for several at once. It is booked in advance, and takes about forty minutes from switching on to the right temperature; it is yours until 22:00. The full instructions are in the folder indoors — and keep drinking water.

THE COOLDOWN

Cool off in the sea air

Afterwards, step out onto the deck and cool off in the sea air — that is this house’s way of restoring. The open-air bath, ringed with boulders, has nothing overhead and Sagami Bay past the hedge; from the jacuzzi at its wide window, the horizon sits beyond the trees.

ONE PARTY A DAY

Private, one party a day

The whole house is yours, one party a day: no one waits for the sauna, the bath or the jacuzzi but you. No one to meet, no one to hurry you — you restore at your own pace. It sleeps six, up to ten.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Before you begin

Booked ahead, until 22:00

The sauna is booked in advance. It, and the open-air bath, are yours until 22:00; allow about forty minutes from switching on to the right temperature.

Keep drinking water

The full instructions are in the folder indoors. Do not stay in too long, and drink water often.

There is no cold plunge

To cool down there is the sea air on the deck, the open-air bath and the jacuzzi; in summer (June to the end of September) the pool with its view of the sea is open as well.
